Everything that went right on Friday went wrong today. I got pulled away from the larger projects every few minutes to paper over some small user issue, to hold hands, to listen to nitpicks. It's not that I mind doing that, but it's killing my productivity, and presumably they'll care about that at some point.
I'm still waiting to hear back about Mucha from the Cat. I'll nudge him tomorrow. Also, I should get my taxes done. Note to self, get that done.
I discovered this evening that peas go well in fried rice. I think this is the first time I've cooked peas since I moved into the apartment. How wacky is that? I wonder what else I can add. Probably tofu. I should pick up tofu, cube and fry it. Carin made that salad she had made when her sister was here, and cubed up some Jarlsberg. (It's like Swiss, but more so!) It was an excellent dinner--I had been a bit cranky because of a lack of lunch, but I felt much better after eating.
We watched a bit more of Duck Soup tonight; Carin laughed her ass off at the hat-switching scene. I can't wait until we get to the bit with the mirror, or the bit with the uniforms.
