Long day at work, today. I dealt with this very strange problem where I could edit, but not create, a certain type of object. This object was picked from a list control. After much, much staring, poking and grumbling, it was revealed that the list was actually enormously wide--neither I nor anyone else had noticed the scrollbar at the bottom--and the fix will be to replace the list with a table, which I should have done in the first place. I feel pretty dumb for spending so much time on that.
Despite not accomplishing much, I was still tired when I got back. Working at the office has a very different effect on me than working at home. Maybe it's something to do with getting up a bit earlier; maybe it's something to do with being a bit more alert and on-edge when I'm working in front of people.
At least we took out the recycling today, paper and all. It's silly that that makes me happy, but I'll take my small victories where I can get them.
