Well, the cold may be receding. I slept way, way too much last night. Went to Greg and Shannon's for the afternoon, which turned into "until nine-thirty".
At least that whole nonsense is done with. Julie seemed happy with her new machine; it hooks into her TV; she can toast CDs; she's frighteningly happy about it. (I'd be a little pissed if my machine didn't work for a month after I got it... oh wait, I did have that happen.)
She offered to pay me. I didn't know what to say---I'm set with money. I dunno what to ask her for. So I took a rain check. Lee, if you need something from Julie, tell me, and I'll settle it that way.
And homework sits atop my bed, lonely and unfinished. But Rek is talking to me (how sweet of her!) and everything should turn out well.
Especially because my father brought me a care package! Cough drops and chocolate and generic ibuprofen and oranges, oh my! |
